Accounts Administrator – Full Time

Salary: Negotiable

Hours 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday

We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to work in our friendly accounts office based in Warminster. You will be one of a small team who on a day-to-day basis look after the needs of our legal team.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be responsible for helping with the smooth running of the Accounts department, under the supervision of the Accounts Manager. This is to involve the following.

  • Experience of Case Management systems, preferably SOS but some form of data entry experience would be acceptable.
  • Processing of daily cash book entries.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing Client account transactions.
  • Processing of nominal expenses and supplier payments.
  • Processing client bills and assisting with Credit control.
  • Bank reconciliation of Office and Client accounts including running month end reports.
  • Assisting with file closures and archiving.
  • Checking and solving unreconciled differences on historical ledgers and reports.
  • Ensure the firms Accounts policies and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Dealing with general accounts queries and assisting the Fee Earners and secretaries in adhering to the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Any ad-hoc accounts/administrative duties.

Training in all the above will be given.
